Our Scrapbook continued...

This is definitely the joy of my Christmas creations - you can see how much of the first Christmas Cake I have already polished off, almost single- handed.  Ah, but there are two.... Wonder why I'm laughing... It will take months to work that weight off.

Would you like us to save you some? Mum tells me it freezes.

More Stuff that Happens at Home

Here is a flavour of home and what we have been doing ... and stuff...

Boots waiting to be cleaned after their adventure in Ashton Court collecting Christmas wreath material, or was it the trip to Avebury for the Solstice, Hail and Welcome to the Sun...

Books Harriet has been reading these hols.

Finally a photo of Tom, with Issy and Henry...

and then just to remind you...

This is the view from the bridge

the view from the stairs...

Birthday flowers still going strong - ish... Thank you!

Jenny's painting which she has called 'TWO'  I love it!

and of course, the view of the Christmas room... (morning time, so no candles and no fire)

Finally, Cornflakes says Miaow,  she's missing you, James. Hope you're seeing some nice cats in Laos.

29th DECEMBER 2011

The days of 2011 are drawing to a close and we want to send James something in Laos or Vietnam to wish him a Happy New Year and to perhaps be just a little bit competitive.. So here is our first attempt at a blog posting.
The American cousins are staying and Tom has taken all the girls and Henry to the Wardrobe for a drink. I am here enjoying some peace by the fire. Perhaps even a wee glass of whisky...
